About the Role

The Principal Epic Trainer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi is responsible for the end-to-end design, delivery, governance, and continuous improvement of Epic clinical training programs across inpatient, outpatient, and specialty workflows. Furthermore, this role ensures that clinicians and caregivers are proficient in Epic through role-based onboarding, optimization training, and upgrade readiness. Moreover, the position maintains alignment with Epic best practices, organizational policies, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities for Analyst II Clinical Applications Epic Trainer at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi Abu Dhabi

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate Epic training programs across clinical and operational roles
• Deliver classroom, virtual, and hands-on Epic training aligned with organizational standards
• Support new caregiver onboarding cycles and ensure adequate training capacity
• Contribute to the development of training strategy for clinical caregivers
• Prepare, facilitate, and deliver formal and in-the-field training courses and programs
• Own and maintain Epic training curricula, environments, tip sheets, and LMS content
• Lead training readiness and execution for Epic upgrades
• Provide optimization and refresher training post-upgrade or go-live
• Mentor junior trainers and standardize best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Diploma in healthcare or Information Technology required
• Minimum 5-7 years of Epic training or Epic clinical application experience
• Experience supporting Epic upgrades, go-lives, and optimization initiatives
• Epic Credentialed in a related clinical application is preferred
• Clinical background highly desired (MA, LVN, RN, OT/PT/RT license, or other clinical degree)
• Epic Proficient or Certified required within one year of employment
