Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare and review financial statements, cash flow reports, and budget forecasts
- Monitor and control project costs, ensure accurate cost allocation and timely invoicing
- Track and manage subcontractor and supplier payments and certificates
- Ensure compliance with VAT regulations and coordinate tax filings
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual closings
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities
- Support project managers with financial data and analysis as needed
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of all financial transactions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems like SAP or Oracle)
- Good understanding of UAE VAT laws and compliance
- Professional certifications like CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and construction cost controls
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
