Duties of An Accountant

• Financial Record Keeping: Accurately maintain financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, cash and bank entries.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Financial Reporting: Generate and analyze financial statements including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
• Tax Compliance: Stay up to date with UAE tax laws and regulations.
• Cost Control: Monitor and ensure proper cost control measures are in place.
• Financial Audits: Assist in the preparation and coordination of financial audits, liaising with external auditors as required.
• Financial Software and Tools: Utilize accounting software and financial tools to streamline and automate financial processes.
• Compliance and Regulation: Ensure compliance with local regulatory authorities and industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insights and analysis on financial performance, highlighting areas for improvement and optimization.

Requirements for Role of An Accountant

• Required: Bachelor degree in an accounting related field
• Minimum 3 years experience in the field of finance.
• Desired: Professional accounting qualifications.
• Experience working within the GCC region.
• Experience working with the Oracle ERP application.
