AC Technician- FM AlQuoz, Dubai, United Arab Emirates Full-time

This role installs, maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs a wide range of air conditioning systems – including split units, cassette units, ducted units, and package units – while also performing basic chiller system maintenance. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical faults, handle refrigerant recovery per safety standards, and keep accurate records of all work performed. Consequently, your technical expertise directly ensures efficient operation of critical HVAC assets across residential, commercial, and industrial facilities in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain AC systems, therefore ensuring efficient operation through regular preventive maintenance schedules.
• Diagnose and fix electrical and mechanical issues in AC systems. Handle refrigerant recovery and recycling in full compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintenance on chiller systems, identifying potential failures before they escalate.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs, repair reports, and refrigerant usage. Provide timely updates on major repairs or equipment requirements.
• Follow company safety standards, policies, and HVAC regulations at all times. Therefore, maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
• Respond to emergency breakdowns promptly, minimizing downtime for clients. Work shifts as required, including weekends and public holidays.
• Assist with other tasks when needed, such as supporting electricians or plumbers on multi‑trade facility maintenance jobs.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members to ensure job completion and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in HVAC systems, refrigeration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC installation, repair, and maintenance, preferably within a facility management environment in the UAE.
• Proficient in handling various AC systems including split, cassette, ducted, and package units.
• Basic knowledge of chiller systems (troubleshooting and routine maintenance).
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills for electrical and mechanical faults.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities in English; knowledge of Hindi/Urdu or Arabic is an advantage.
• Physical fitness to handle heavy equipment, work at heights, and operate in diverse conditions (confined spaces, rooftops, mechanical rooms).
• Flexibility to work shifts, respond to emergency call‑outs, and support other trades when required.
