You will be responsible for overseeing the HVAC systems that keep the residential community of Sukoon and the Teatro leisure complex comfortable, energy-efficient, and safe. Every chiller, AHU, and VRF system you maintain will directly impact the quality of life for residents and the experience of visitors. Your expertise will be the invisible comfort behind the community’s modern living and vibrant entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the installation, maintenance, and repair of all HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, split units, VRF/VRV systems, and refrigeration equipment.
• Execute a rigorous planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedule in line with OEM guidelines and facility management standards.
• Respond promptly to breakdown calls, carrying out thorough fault diagnosis and implementing effective repairs to minimize downtime.
• Mentor and guide a team of junior HVAC technicians, providing on-the-job training and ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
• Monitor and calibrate system controls (DDC, BMS) to ensure optimal performance, temperature, humidity, and indoor air quality are maintained.
• Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed dilapidation reports, identifying potential system enhancements or upgrade opportunities.
• Work closely with other trades (e.g., electrical, plumbing, civil) to ensure seamless execution of multi-disciplinary tasks.
• Manage spare parts inventory, assist in stock audits, and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure critical components are always available.
• Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and compliance documentation to support audits and performance reporting.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, permit-to-work systems, and UAE building codes, actively participating in emergency call-outs and supporting energy-saving initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or ITI certification in HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role, ideally within a large residential complex, hotel, or commercial facility in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of a wide range of systems: chillers (screw/reciprocating), AHUs, FCUs, split units, VRF/VRV (Daikin, LG, etc.), and associated BMS controls.
• Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings, riser diagrams, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills for mechanical, electrical, and control-related faults.
• Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal); knowledge of Arabic or other South Asian languages is an advantage.
• Ability to work flexible hours and be on-call for emergencies.
