Transguard Group is hiring a Site Gardener for its Integrated Facility Services (IFS) Landscaping Services division, deployed at Nakhali Lodges in the UAE. The Gardener will carry out daily landscaping, planting, irrigation, and maintenance tasks under the supervision of the Site Team Leader to keep grounds clean, safe, and presentable.
Responsibilities
- Plant, water, prune, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and lawns at the assigned site.
- Operate basic landscaping tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and irrigation systems.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely as instructed.
- Maintain cleanliness of green areas and dispose of garden waste correctly.
- Follow HSE policies and safe working practices at all times.
- Report any equipment issues, plant diseases, or irrigation problems to the Team Leader.
- Work as part of a team to complete daily landscaping schedules.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Gardener or in landscape maintenance, preferably in the UAE.
- Basic knowledge of horticulture, irrigation, and plant care.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in UAE weather.
- Good understanding of safety practices on site.
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team.
