Dubai Municipality is presently hiring for the job role of Assets Officer in uae. This is a full time job role for UAE Nationals only. The salary ranges from 7000 AED TO 15000 AED that is slightly negotiatable during the interview.

Responsibilities of Assets Officer

  • Preparing daily work plans and programs to record and document the assets purchased for the various organizational units in coordination with those concerned with accounting matters.
  • Preparing a database in coordination with those concerned with accounting matters regarding the assets available in the municipality.
  • Update that data periodically according to changes and need.
  • Follow up on all audit and control operations on the municipality’s properties, including buildings and facilities, follow up on their registration processes with the competent government agencies, and work to archive their plans and save them in the places designated for that.
  • Providing those concerned in the organizational units and investors with copies of them when needed.
  • Conducting field visits to the municipality’s assets and properties, including buildings, facilities, and lands, verifying that maps match the locations, and verifying any updates or activities taking place on those buildings, facilities, and lands.
  • Continuous communication with the coordinators of the organizational units to conduct the processes of documenting and registering their various assets and documenting data on the department’s assets and property, including buildings, facilities, and lands.

What you will do more?

  • Monitoring the movements of the municipality’s assets and property in the various organizational units, including the transfer or exclusion of those assets
  • Ensuring that the organizational units adhere to the regulations and instructions issued in this regard.
  • Ensure that code number label is affixed to various assets in the designated places.
  • Follow up on the integrity of the labels and the extent of the organizational units’ commitment to keeping these labels in good condition.
  • Carrying out training of asset controllers, committees formed for inventorying fixed assets, and new asset coordinators.
  • Participating in the sale or disposal of old assets, and attending auctions for those operations as assigned.
  • Carrying out periodic inventory work and participating in asset inventory teams for the purpose of inventorying all fixed assets.
  • Submitting periodic reports on the work progress.
  • Indicating any obstacles to the work & corrective measures that must be taken & submitting them to direct supervisor.

Requirements of Assets Officer

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • no experience required. Specialization in Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing.
