Responsibilities of Track Operative
- Undertakes preventive, corrective, emergency maintenance and repair works as required, in the following fields:
- Spot re-railing.
- Spot re-sleepering.
- Cutting rail.
- Turnout replacement and repair.
- Sand removal.
- Other general track maintenance activities.
Safety Responsibilities
- To comply with those elements of the Etihad Rail Operating Companies environment, health and safety management system and other company documents where specific responsibility is identified with the role or as a general requirement on all employees.Â
Security ResponsibilitiesÂ
Etihad Rail Operating Compnaies employees are responsible for:
- Being aware of the current policies and procedures and their responsibilities for protecting corporate assets.
- Using corporate resources only for intended purposes as defined by policies and procedures of Etihad Rail.
- Being accountable for their actions relating to their use of all assets.
Requirements of Track Operative

Academic Qualifications
- School Certificate or equivalent.
Professional Qualifications
- Recognized knowledge of track maintenance.
- Full driving license.
Experience
- 2-3 years of relevant industry experience.
Skills and Abilities Desired
- English as first language or advanced level of written and verbal skills.
- Ability to work in a multicultural team.
