Job Description

An exciting job opportunity has been announced by SAAB for the role of Senior High Speed Digital EngineerĀ in Abu Dhabi. The selected candidate must be experienced & is interested in developing products within Radar team. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility requirments should submit their applications now.

Duties of A Senior High Speed Digital Engineer

  • To design and implement high-speed digital circuits and systems to meet performance and reliability requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to ensure seamless integration of digital components into larger systems.
  • Work with FPGA and ASIC design tools to develop and test digital prototypes.
  • Debug and troubleshoot digital hardware and firmware issues during the development and testing phases.
  • Stay current with industry trends and advancements in high-speed digital technology to incorporate best practices into design methodologies.

Requirements of Senior High Speed Digital Engineer

The requirements for role of Senior High Speed Digital Engineer are as under:

  • Bachelorā€™s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Min 8 years experience in designing and implementing high-speed digital circuits and systems.
  • Experience with high speed PCB design.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Proficiency in hardware description languages (Verilog, VHDL) and familiarity with FPGA/ASIC design tools. Strong understanding of digital signal processing, signal integrity, and timing analysis.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and protocols relevant to high-speed digital design.
  • Excellent problem solving and debugging skills. Strong mentoring, communication, and teamwork skills. Understanding of wireless communication protocols.
  • Knowledge of software-defined radio (SDR) principles.
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time operating systems. Understanding Radar and of wireless communication protocols.
