Sous Chef – Multi-Outlet & Banqueting

Responsibilities

  • Run daily kitchen operations with Head Chef.
  • Lead breakfast, all-day dining, banqueting, specialty restaurants.
  • Menu creation & seasonal specials.
  • Train, schedule, and motivate 60+ brigade.
  • Cost control, stock rotation, wastage management.
  • Ensure flawless HACCP & Dubai Municipality standards.
  • Handle VIP & guest chef events.

Requirements

Education

Professional culinary diploma or apprenticeship.

Experience

Minimum 4–6 years as CDP/Junior Sous in 5-star international chain hotels (gastropub experience a bonus).

Qualifications

  • Eligible to work in UAE.
  • Fluent English.

Skills

  • Multi-cuisine mastery (international, Arabic, Indian, seafood).
  • Strong leadership & team motivation.
  • Creative menu development.
  • Excel in high-volume banqueting.

Knowledge

  • HACCP Level 4 & food safety.
