Responsibilities
- Guide staff and students to maintain a safe, orderly school.
- Oversee the school’s assessment and monitoring schedule.
- Work with the Principal to evaluate teachers and support staff.
- Help screen and interview candidates for teaching and non-teaching roles.
- Lead efforts to improve student achievement per school plans and ADEK rules.
- Manage the MAP/Exact Path student achievement program.
- Set up progress-based testing schedules with assessment coordinators.
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support new teaching methods and materials with the leadership team.
- Plan staff training to boost teaching quality.
- Submit required reports and data on time.
- Meet with staff to promote teamwork and school goals.
- Perform additional tasks as directed by the Principal.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; Master’s in Education or Leadership (e.g., NPQH).
- 6 years of teaching experience, including 4 years with appraisals showing high performance, and 2 years in a middle leadership role.
