Job Description

Hospitality industry is actively seeking a detail oriented and customer focused individual for theĀ  role of Cashier. The selected candidate will work in a Cafe and will be responsible to handle transactions and contribute to their smooth operations. Candidates desirous for this role should submit their resume to begin with the application process.

Responsibilities of Cashier

  • Process customer orders and transactions accurately.
  • Handle cash, credit and other forms of payment.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the cashier station.
  • Collaborate with the cafe team to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Keep accurate records of sales and transactions.
  • Perform any other job duties as assigned by the higher authorities or which may fall within the scope of job duties.

Requirements of Cashier

  • High School Diploma or diploma or certificate in finance or accounting.
  • 1-2 years of previous experience as a cashier, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong numerical and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in transaction processing.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Performs the assigned tasks in a best manner.
