Job Description

Miral Experiences is presently hiring qualified candidates for the job role of a Payroll Accountant in Dubai.

Responsibilities of Payroll Accountant

  • Payroll Accounting: 
  • Perform monthly payroll salary runs, ensuring accurate calculations and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with HR to ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll changes, including new hires, terminations, and salary adjustments.
  • Liaise with the bank for colleague’s bank card requests and resolve any payment-related issues.
  • Provide support to the payroll team and contribute to process improvements.
  • Ensure payroll records and documentation are securely maintained and organized for efficient retrieval during audits.
  • Address colleague queries promptly, providing accurate and courteous responses.
  • Perform ad-hoc reporting, analysis, or projects as required.
  • Payroll Accounting
  • Assists in preparing the monthly payroll review pack.
  • Prepare monthly payroll cutoff reports for Manager’s review.
  • Prepare monthly payroll-related journals, posting to the general ledger.
  • Prepare monthly balance sheet schedules.
  • Review of monthly time management reports.
  • Assist with year-end reporting requirements.
  • Payment processing:
  • Perform final settlement and salary advance calculation and ensure timely payment.
  • Process employee benefits payments, including housing loan repayments, education allowances, and other entitlements.
  • Coordinate with the Pension authorities to ensure timely payment of contributions.
  • System maintenance:
  • Assume time management super user duties for MX and MD, resolving issues, ensuring timecards are finalized by cutoff dates.
  • Performing random timecard audits and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Ensure the ERP system is timely updated with costing assignments.
  • Collaborate with IT to resolve any system issues and support upgrades or enhancements.

Requirements

  • Higher Secondary or equivalent to the essential statement of Bachelors in Business / Accounting / Finance
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Payroll or Accounting related field
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Maintains strict confidentiality
  • Proficient working with Excel, Outlook, Oracle and KRONOS
  • Time management skills
  • knowledgeable about UAE Labor Law
