Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Team Leader. The aspiring candidate will work at Front Office department of Jumeirah World trade Center Residence (a subsidiary of Jumeirah Group) in Dubai. Job Purpose of A Team Leader

The job purpose of a Team Leader (Front Office) in Dubai is to oversee and coordinate the front desk and guest services operations of a hotel or similar establishment, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes, resolving guest issues, and supervising the front office staff to provide exceptional customer service.

Duties of A Team Leader

  • To be a role model to all colleagues in regard to punctuality, appearance, courtesy, performance, attitude, leadership, guest relations, observance of the house rules, loyalty to management and interdepartmental communication.
  • To assist in maintaining and developing agreed operating procedures involved in the Front Office and to ensure all Front Office colleagues adhere to the correct procedures as lay down in the operating manual.
  • To be fully aware and knowledgeable of all services, amenities and functions within Jumeirah Living-WTCR·
  • To ensure that guest complaints are handled and resolved by the respective departments.
  • To use discretion and tact when dealing with enquiries, problems or complaints on an efficient and professional manner without detriment to the residence and its reputation ·
  • To assist the Duty manager in supervising the Business Centre, Concierge, switch board and the Front Desk Operations ·
  • To inform the residents about the facilities of the property.
  • To act as a salesperson of all Jumeirah Living properties, Jumeirah properties and products.
  •  To log all challenges, negative feedback or unusual matters of significance in Guest feedback report through HotSos/ Mercury.
  • To maintain the colleague attendance summary sheets.
  • To prepare no show charges, cancellation charges, late Charge and post them accordingly.
  • To assist the duty manager with Weekly Duty Roster and Special Staffing Requirements.
  • To ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Front Office operation, ensuring that all residents, guests and visitors receive an optimum level of service and care at all times by adhering to the Jumeirah Signature Standards to create the Jumeirah – Stay Different experience.
  • To ensure that all Standard Operating Procedures and Policies are adhered to at all times.

What You’ll Do More?

  • To assist the Duty manager in the checking of VIP arrival apartments and the meeting and escorting of arriving residents ·
  • To ensure that the residence’s health and safety and security policies are implemented and correctly adhered to at all times.
  • To ensure all guest complaints are handled promptly and efficiently ·
  • To build rapport with residents and guests and maintain interaction in order to update the guest history profiles.
  • To manage the Jumeirah loyalty program Sirius and inquiries and review and conduct necessary training.
  • To carry out and record training within the department as required and within the guidelines of Jumeirah.
  • To conduct residence, show rounds if required.
  • To review residence allocations for VIPs.
  • To assist the Front Desk, switch board, business center, on the go, concierge when required ·
  • To assist in maintaining the operating costs and achieving maximum sales and profitability in the Front Office department ·
  • To assist in the correct closure of the Reception/Cashier shift and perform necessary spot check to ensure adherence to the respective standard operating procedures.
  • To proactively seek new opportunities to generate revenue ·
  • To perform any related duties and special projects as requested and assigned by the Senior Management.
  • To adhere to the Jumeirah Hallmarks, Guiding Principles and Signature Standards.
  • To comply with the property’s health, safety and hygiene procedures and maintain grooming standards.
  • To act as a salesperson of all Jumeirah Living properties, Jumeirah properties and products.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

  • High School Graduate.

Experience

  • Must have 2 years front office experiences at reception.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Able to Communicate effectively.
  • Computer Knowledge (Microsoft office 2007 & Opera system).
  • Fluency in English is essential and Additional Language is an added advantage.
