Emirates Transport is seeking a diligent and motivated Spare Parts Sourcing Manager to join their Procurement team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of spare parts for the whole fleet of Emirates Transport and their external customers. The main objective of the role is to ensure the availability of high-quality spare parts at competitive prices, while maintaining optimal inventory levels. This is a senior level full time role. For this position salary ranges can range between 15000 to 30000 AED/month.

Duties of A Spare Parts Sourcing Manager

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive spare parts sourcing strategy in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with key vendors.
  • Lead a small team of procurement professionals to effectively manage the sourcing process, including supplier selection, evaluation, and performance management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as fleet management, MRO and operations teams, to understand their spare parts requirements and provide timely support.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and technological advancements to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve sourcing processes.
  • Implement and maintain effective procurement systems and tools to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to sourcing, procurement, and vendor management.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Spare Parts Sourcing Manager are as under:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10-12 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proven experience in spare parts sourcing or procurement, preferably within the transport and lease industry.
  • Experience with Dealing with ambiguity.

Knowledge & Skills Desired

  • Proficiency in Material planning, Purchasing, Inventory Control,Costing,Value analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent Leadership and Teamwork skills.
  • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply certificate or membership (CIPS) or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing strategies, procurement processes, and supplier management.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in using procurement systems and software.
