Transguard Group is presently hiring suitably skilled candidate for the role of a Service Advisor (Automotive) to be based out of their office in Dubai or Sharjah. The selected candidate will be responsible to provide optimum advice and customer care quality for service & successfully contribute in achieving Service Department target and the organization’s vision/mission

Responsibilities for Role of A Service Advisor

  • Prepares him/herself on appointment with customers for the following day with APAS /ISPA print out.
  • Meets and greets customers.
  • Carrying out reception of cars coming for Service as per booking.
  • Checking the vehicle for any damages and mentioning all scratches, dents on booking sheet / jobcard before accepting it.
  • Ensure all customers belonging & valuable items are removed and handed over to the customer.
  • Open jobcards as per service requirement, additional requested work by the customer plus work identified during reception (subject to customers approval).
  • Record all customer details and ensuring all details entered in the computer system are correct.
  • Ensuring FRU Nos as per KSD system is mentioned on all open jobcards.
  • Advising customer on cost of repairs before accepting the vehicle and taking approval in writing for any additional repairs.
  • Attach all relevant documents to the jobcard (key reader print out, technical campaign details, book in sheet, customer notes, etc.)
  • Ensure mobility of customer after finalizing the service advise process.
  • Proper follow up with workshop to ensure repairs are completed and deadlines met in time.
  • Advising customer on the progress of vehicle repairs.
  • Ensuring pricing, details of repairs and all safety related informations are mentioned on the invoice are correct before handing over and explaining to the customer.
  • Monitoring and ensuring that all campaigns are completed for each job card opened.
  • Final physical check of vehicle before calling customer to confirm that the vehicle is ready for pick up.
  • Handover the vehicle personally to the customer.
  • Ensure the work quality is based on QMA guidelines for repair quality.
  • Following the QMA procedure & guidelines.
  • Working flexible hours depending on the workload.
  • Ensure highest degree of customer satisfaction and retention at all times.
  • Handle customer complaints and ensure corrective action has been taken.

Qualification Requirements For Role of A Service Advisor

  • Primary Education minimum.
  • 1-2 years of experience working as service advisor in automotive.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Candidates should be based in UAE currently.
