As a senior Sales Executive for DMC your focus will be to work with out key OTA partners, to maximise visibility on their website and drive conversion for strategic suppliers.

Job Purpose of A Senior Sales Executive

  • Work to improve business relationships with Destination Management business partners, hereunder hotels, concierge teams and travel agents.
  • Overall goal is to facilitate good relation ships so business can maximize the value of those relationships and maintain a good reputation for Destination Management, by actively promoting and selling products and services.
  • Support customer facing staff on ground. Be creative & support product development based on feedback from corporate clients.

Job Duties of A Senior Sales Executive

  • Increase awareness of Destination Management products in corporate market by targeting decision makers in major companies.
  • Promote Destination Management as a specialist company that looks at tailor made events, functions and services catering to both corporate clients and the companies requiring incentive packages, launching of products and organising other special leisure events.
  • Achieve sales targets by implementing agreed designed strategies, taking advantage of all business opportunities to increase profitability and growth of the department through a range of sales tools, such as sales presentations, personal sales visits, regular mailing & tele sales activities, attending media & promotional activities.
  • Maintain an updated database of existing and potential clients for Destination Management and generate sales statistics of all excursions sold through corporate sales on a monthly basis.
  • Organize training, planned maintenance, and other services to help clients get better and more efficient use from products or services. Network to ensure rapport and help set up booking and payment systems that simplify the commercial arrangements with clients.
  • Prepare new & innovative products, bearing in mind market demand, service & product being offered by company’s competitor & recommendations from existing clients.
  • Source for suppliers who are able to offer new products or services & negotiate rates with them to make services competitive.
  • Actively monitor trends and competitor activities and provide appropriate feedback to the management.
  • Build a culture of partner relationships with clients based on trust and value, not only on price.
  • Work with operation controllers & customer facing staff to help them understand clients needs & motivate them to provide highest service standards.

Qualification & Experience

  • Degree or Honors (12+3 or equivalent).
  • 5 plus years experience in hospitality management.
  • Proven track record in sales in a hotel or travel industry.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Good presentation and influencing/ negotiation skills.
  • Creative and lateral thinker and a good team member.
  • Good interpersonal ability and networking skills.
  • Should be able to operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good english written oral communication skills.
  • Driving licence is requirement to perform in this job.
