Senior Manager Alliance Accounts EM at Adidas in Building 2, Dubai Design District, Dubai, UAE will drive the consistent execution of Global and Market Wholesale Alliance Key Account Strategy, focusing on the Alliance Key Accounts. Build and maintain sustainable long-term growth plans strategies within each KA through partnerships, in conjunction with the Sales Development teams (Market and Global). Support with the implementation and monitor the progress of Global Sales projects and initiatives. Develop effective collaboration models with the local Alliance KA teams and support them in achieving profitable market share and company goals through best practice sharing, sales system enhancement and process harmonization/ improvement. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-30000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Senior Manager

  • Support Alliance KA across each of their markets.
  • Ensure a platform for best practice sharing and cross cluster discussions. Bringing awareness to performance, market trends, market share and growth opportunities.
  • Drive improvement through developing and executing strategic locally relevant processes in close cooperation with global, EM hub and cluster leads that will positively impact Alliance accounts.
  • Work closely with cluster sales teams to drive commercial success in Alliance Key Accounts.
  • Collaborate with Global and EM Market functions to get required service level support for Alliance. This can be product, ranging, GTM milestones, process etc.
  • Ensure clear and fast collaboration to support Alliance KA development within adidas.
  • Define required processes to support expansion and operationalize for local teams.
  • Identify Key Business/Growth Drivers of the assigned account and develop projects and activities in partnership. With market KA teams to grow/maximize their business, and to maintain and improve a profitable relationship with the accounts.
  • Gather and share best practices across the markets and turn it into industry-leading sales tools working closely with the markets and Sales Development. Make the Best-in-Class KA tools always available for the clusters.
  • Ensure a constant communication flow about status of KA tools (e.g. Global KA Reporting, KA Playbook). Global WHS Key Account Management projects as well as Alliance KA game plans or support plans to the main stakeholders, i.e., market KA teams, KAM team/leadership, SVP Global WHS.

What you will do more

  • Own and drive across the Partner Alliance KAs a key initiative with the KAM team, i.e., speed, cities, etc. Own and drive/support the implementation of the high number of Global and Market Sales projects, measure results and lead and steer update development upon market needs and Senior Management feedback in the ever-changing environment (e.g. a new approach of sell out analysis, global key account management).
  • Provide and demonstrate expertise in key forums as required (e.g. KA meetings, T2T meetings, WHS Operations sessions).
  • Mentor juniors in the Market WHS KAM team and act as a team player and collaborate with other project team members.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the assigned Alliance Key Account on a regular basis to pro-actively manage all business KPIs linked to adidas Top Key Accounts.
  • Create presentations for larger-scale projects and coordinate core team communication, senior management communication and key milestone meetings.

Requirements for Role of Senior Manager

  • Degree in business administration with focus on Sales/Marketing.
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in sales, ideally in the sporting goods industry.
  • 1+ year experience in management.
  • 5+ years experience in Business.
  • Extensive knowledge of the adidas Group business along with significant industry experience.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English is a must. Skills and abilities in another language are a benefit.
  • Drive excellence on execution and a customer centric approach to build a sustainable business.
  • Expert understanding of local Markets’ consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs translated into strategic account management.
  • Excellent communication skills including impactful presentation skills, influencing, negotiating and change management.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Advanced numeracy and literacy, with good IT skills.
  • Sporting goods / retail / consumer goods.
