An exciting job opportunity has been announced by Dnata Airline for the role of a Sales Executive in Dubai. The incumbent will be responsible to achieve assigned portfolio’s revenue target whilst supporting overall country plan and commercial target by ensuring that GSA principals position in the market is protected. Also role has to source new business and maintain existing business, whilst ensuring to plan, manage and implement sales & marketing activities within the assigned portfolio of Corporate and Travel Agencies within designated work areas.

Responsibilities of A Sales Executive

  • Develop promotional action plans focused on meeting GSA principals revenue targets within account portfolio.
  • Participate and actively contribute to planning sessions by providing constructive feedback and customer trends and insights to help identify new opportunities and challenges and to ensure that the product range, pricing, promotion plans and sales strategies are well suited to the market place.
  • Review and monitor sales strategies in the territory and provide recommendation to customer to competitively position the GSA principal and remains the Airline of choice for consumers.
  • Coordinate distribution of quality marketing and promotional collateral and material.
  • Work closely with supporting sales teams/business units to exploit all business opportunities objectively and effectively.
  • Gather and analyse competitor intelligence and market trends with action based data to support management in refining sales and business strategies to ensure GSA principal maintains a leading position in the market.
  • Achieve / exceed revenue & passenger targets within the allocated area of work to support the growth objectives of the business.
  • Execute and monitor incentive programmes with Travel trade and corporate houses within guidelines established and meet the revenue targets.
  • Create frequent reviews and reports with sales and financial data with feedback and recommendations to Sales Manager on Sales.

Qualification Requirements for Role of Sales Executive

  • 12 years schooling or equivalent.
  • Experience in the travel / Airline industry including 3 years in outdoor sales and marketing capacity.
  • Experience in sales experience in the Travel or Airline industry.
  • 5 plus years of arabic language experience required.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of travel trade distribution.
  • Knowledge of the travel trade & corporate sector.
  • Strong customer service, presentation & begotiation skills.
  • Computer knowledge i.e. MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
