Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Reservations Agent (Room Reservations). The aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Zabeel Saray (a subsidiary of Jumeirah Group) and join the room reservervations team in Dubai. Job Purpose of A Reservations Agent

To assist customers in booking accommodations or services, ensuring a smooth reservation process and addressing inquiries.

Duties of A Reservations Agent

  • To maximize rooms revenue and profit through pro-active selling techniques and referral across resort.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate handling of high volumes of reservation requests through different channels such as telephone, email, and chat.
  • Required to take ownership to drive and deliver performance in line with Jumeirah standards for reservation conversion, quality, customer service response times and your personal productivity and efficiency.
  •  To become best in class for reservations standards and experiences.
  • Have full and up to date knowledge of the hotel products and services.
  • Ensure all telephone calls are handled politely and efficiently, ascertaining and accurately meeting the caller’s needs using a client orientated approach.
  • Check arrival reports: 24 hours prior to arrival and 5 days prior to arrival
  • Handle all reservations through different channels (via email/telephone/ website) efficiently.
  • Prepare Pro Forma invoices as requested by accounts.
  • Actively participate in maximising revenue through up-selling.
  • Follow up on non-guaranteed.
  • Handle no-shows and cancellations efficiently.
  • Maximize selling opportunities by adding customer value at every opportunity.
  • Handle complaints promptly and professionally, demonstrating genuine care and concern under the supervision of the Manager on Shift.
  • Liaise with the Management and team in order to ensure the smooth operation of Revenue processes and functions within the individual unit covered.
  • Prepare, update and file all correspondence relating to room sales.
  • Assisting on guest visa inquiries.
  • Handling Group Reservations by communicating with the Events/Sales Department.

Who Can Apply?


  • High School Diploma.


  • Entry level or Minimum 1 year role as a Guest Services Executive/ sales Agent or a similar role in 5 star hotel of multicultural environment.
  • Experience in reservations, sales or revenue.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Sufficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, HotSOS, and Opera PMS).
  • Flexible schedule in order to meet demands of hotel occupancy.
  • Fluency in the English language.
  • Preferably speaks an additional language.
