Accor Hotels is actively recruiting customer focused and well groomed candidate for job role of a Receptionist. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at Movenpick Hotel and Apartments Bur Dubai (subsidiary of Accor Hotels). Purpose of A Receptionist At Accor Hotels

  • Provide efficient, courteous and punctual front desk services to customers.
  • Work to ensure that each guest leaves the hotel fully satisfied and with the wish to return back.
  • Supervise & manage the operations of front desk in order to fulfill the guest satisfaction levels.

Job Duties of A Receptionist At Accor Hotels

  • Prepare for daily arrivals in terms of room allocation, check if there is any special request of guests.
  • Register & process check in for all arrivals.
  • Update guest information into computer systems after complete check in.
  • Accountable for cashiering duties as well as foreign exchange transactions.
  • Handle walk in counter reservation at all times and process call in reservation when room reservation section is closed.
  • Provide friendly service to guest & respond promptly to all requests and inquiries.
  • Resolve guests complaints/requests and also liaise with the department concerned for immediate response.
  • Handle issuance of guest room key cards and ensure effective control to ensure security of guest and its luggage.
  • Check and convey message to guests (if any).
  • To check paymaster & assist Supervisors to have no paymasters pending.
  • File daily reception report and documents systematically.
  • Print panic report (at least twice a shift).
  • At the end of the shift, communicate all information that the next shift has to know for smooth running of the operations.
  • Coordinate with the Front Office Manager, housekeeping, F&B and especially with the General Manager regarding MIPs and VIPs.

Qualification & Experience

  • Diploma in Hotel Management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in similar role.
  • Languages desired are Arabic/Chinese/ German/French.
