Job Purpose of A Senior Manager Business Development

Development and implementation of strategic business concepts for all adidas brand in Market to drive organizational effectiveness & efficiency and to address all extraordinary challenges to the organization.

Job Duties of A Senior Manager Business Development

  • Support Director BD in aligning strategic priorities across management team and support global priorities.
  • Address and solve cross functional challenges and projects with high priority to Market.
  • Strategic planning and project management with a focus on market clustering, market entry strategy, business set up and financial modeling.
  • Project management for the set up of new commercial models or new channels with a focus on establishing eCom in key markets within the set growth plan for 3-5 years to come.
  • Coordination / project management for all major (new) business solutions.
  • Standardization / simplification of business processes in line with global guardrails, reporting & internal controls requirements.
  • Business project lead for cross functional projects in MENA such as process analysis and adaptation, resource planning, organizational preparation, implementation, and post implementation support as well as strong collaboration with internal & external stakeholders.
  • Assess the need and drive the change (in business processes and organizational evolution) to meet the needs of brand, markets, customers and consumers.
  • Lead all change initiatives /projects and drive design and implementation of blue  prints and all processes.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business  administration or marketing or a related field.
  • 8 years of cross functional experience in project management, sales or general management.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Strong process understanding, analytical and project management skills.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Understanding of local Market consumers, accounts, economic environment and commercial needs.
  • Ability to provide input to and implement strategy.
