Manager in B2B Business Systems at Emirates Airlines in Garhoud Area opposite to Airport Terminal 3, Dubai, UAE will lead the design and implementation of the department’s technology projects across business verticals supported by a comprehensive enhancement roadmap and future investment plans. As a key member of the core leadership team, candidate will be responsible for working with the multiple business verticals within the department and other commercial functions to deliver business systems solutions and developments. This will be supported by ongoing management to enable strategic deliverables that contribute to the EK commercial objectives including B2B CRM data structure and consistency to support quality and governance objectives. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 20000-40000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager B2B Business Systems

  • Manages from the business side- the design, prioritization and implementation of technology solutions to support the business strategy. Champions and drives technology-enabled innovation within the commercial organization.
  • Collaborate with Procurement to conduct RFI, and RFP activities as and when necessary and oversee the assessment of tech investments and decision-making process.
  • Responsible for prioritising, planning and delivering new business opportunities and performance improvement requirements within business systems and applications. Initiate and manage projects to meet defined business requirements. Ensure project progression, quality and outputs are consistent with agreed cost, scope and targets and resulting in measurable change and innovation across the business.
  • Accountable for leading and managing the implementation of systems and applications to support strategic business programs. Support the business teams and work with technology providers to launch new applications and products to support business objectives with a strong focus on both: automation and real-time data transfer.
  • IT/Business Investment & Governance: Direct responsibility to manage multi-million-dollar IT Capex & Opex investments, and successfully deliver large complex initiatives. Identify priority projects and performance improvement opportunities. Initiate and manage end-to-end cross-functional projects to meet defined business requirements. Lead and represent the department needs in all IT/Business investment & governance forums to ensure sound business cases are pitched and budgets secured. Responsible for securing Strategy Demand in all IT and Business investment governance forums to ensure delivery to generate on-time business benefits. Agree on a resolution plan with Internal IT/Technology providers/external vendors on any systems/digital problems that are reported by internal/external users.

What you will do more

  • Responsible for delivering the CRM strategic roadmap including the sub-systems and applications sourced from multiple vendors, to effectively deliver to the multiple user communities included in the CRM, i.e., Sales Executives, Trade, SME, and Corporate.
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity of B2B Data Streams from Commercial systems internally and from external sources. And interfaces, delivering Data Coherence requirements, Consistency, Logical Structure and Comprehensive design. As well as connectivity for effective and timely downstream ingestion/feed.
  • Business Innovation: Champion and drive technology-enabled innovation within the organization by identifying and testing concepts. Tools and approaches that keep at the forefront of Innovation and future-proof the business model (e.g., AI, Data Science, Blockchain).
  • Effectively lead and manage the performance of the Tech and Data team aligning with the department objectives.

Requirements for Role of Manager B2B Business Systems

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Tech Design with a preference for M/S degree in the same field.
  • Experience in Managing Tech Projects and Systems.
  • Experience in the airline or service industry of which a minimum of 5 years as a functional head developing and implementing tech solutions.
  • Experience in senior business tech implementation roles.
  • Experience in process improvement and project management techniques.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Commercial/Sales or relevant field.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • High level of understanding of leading-edge Information technology including in data and digital areas.
  • Ability to be strategically focus on aligning business initiatives to tech solutions and innovation opportunities.
  • Ability to manage and organize resources so that they are align to enable a quick turnaround of projects.
  • Strong people, team management and leadership capability skills preferably in a multi-cultural environment managing complex relationships and multi stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence effectively.
  • Strong analytical and business case modelling skills.
