Job Purpose of A Guest Relations Duty Manager At Kerzner

  • To ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction by supervising and coordinating the guest relations team and resolving any guest issues or requests promptly and effectively in a hotel or hospitality establishment.
  • They play a key role in enhancing the overall guest experience and maintaining the establishment’s reputation for excellent customer service.

Job Duties of A Guest Relations Duty Manager At Kerzner

  • Responsible for managing the daily activities, reporting, training, and operations of the Host Department.
  • Responsible for Creating Joy for guests through anticipation, creativity, precision, empathy, warmth, tailoring every aspect of their stay to exceed their expectations.
  • Inspire the team to create an amazing experience and everlasting memories for the guests.
  • To coordinate and orchestrate the operation with an efficient yet luxurious approach.
  • Take ownership of guest concerns and requests and act decisively to ensure guest satisfaction when glitches occur.

Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management, hotel management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in guest relations or a similar role in a luxury hotel at a managerial level, additional language is advantageous.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Manage multiple tasks and have confidence in dealing with a diverse set of clienteles.
  • Handling VIP guests and arrivals.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Accustomed to handling guest complaints of varying severity.
  • Fluency in English and additional language (Russian or other European languages are a plus).
