Al Nabooda Automobiles is presently hiring suitable candidate for job role of a Buyer. The selected candidate will be assigned to work at Volkswagen Showrooms in Dubai (Al Nabooda Automobiles is exclusive authorised distributor in Dubai and Northern Emirates for Volkswagen). Job Purpose of A Buyer

  • Appraise and Purchase used cars, whilst recording them on digital appraisal tool on a daily basis.
  • Key objectives are to increase Trade ins to assist sell more new and used cars and purchase “retail cars” for used car sales targets.
  • To deliver an exceptional level of customer and colleague service at all times, while meeting commercial requirements.

Responsibilities of A Buyer

Business Development

  • Appraise and value customer vehicles that come in through different sources accurately.
  • Deliver all prices (subject to physical check by workshop/RTA) within the shortest time possible.
  • Source Volkswagen used cars for re sale that fit within the certified programs parameters.
  • Responsible to achieve trade in and direct purchase targets and KPI’s set.
  • Purchase the right vehicle, model mix to get the right used car inventory at the right price.
  • Show trade cars to wholesalers, traders to get minimum 2 bids, invoice & deliver within 48 Hours of coming into stock.
  • Follow up all hot prospects, trade in enquiries with sales consultants / customers.
  • Retail & trade stock review and update with managers weekly.
  • Weekly meetings with allocated SC, to discuss performance and course any action.
  • Add reputable traders to the bidding list monthly, Ensure only registered traders with ANA are eligible to bid.
  • Purchases & trade in report to NSM.


  • To work in conjunction with all SC allocated under team, maintaining a professional standard and breeding a strong relationship of trust.
  • Through the effective use of a follow up process, maintain regular contact with all new and existing customers.

Personal Development

  • Engage in continuous professional development, keep fully up to date with new products launched by principal.
  • Arrange an annual appraisal with your line manager in accordance with the company’s appraisal process.
  • Attend regular staff meetings, using them as a basis for the communication of any ideas for improvement in processes, cost savings and revenue increases.

Qualification & Experience

  • Minimum a High School (Must)
  • Degree educated (desirable).
  • 3 years of experience in a high pressure, quick turn around German brand business (European is option).
  • Extensive contacts to procure cars within the UAE & GCC.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

  • Negotiation.
  • Planning and organizing.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication.
  • Can do and go getter attitude a must.
  • Computer literacy in word & excel.
