Job Purpose of A Business Support Director

  • To lead and manage the Academy’s administration departments including Marketing, HR, Facilities, Finance & Budgeting, HSE, Procurement and IT Services.
  • In addition, this leadership position pertains to the implementation of related processes, in order to ensure alignment between the broader corporation and functional groups.
  • Lead the process of strategic financial planning and evaluate potential company possibilities, both new and old and ensure a well-controlled, robust financial environment for the academy.
  • Oversees the efficient and effective functioning of all business support functions within the Academy.
  • Oversees and leads the areas of hiring and onboarding permanent and temporary employees, managing employee contracts, providing new hire orientation, HSE and Facilities management, Procurement, and IT services.
  • Responsible for the oversight, and advancement of all marketing campaigns for the academy, developing and preserving beneficial stakeholder connections.

Duties of A Business Support Director

  • Provide leadership to all the major support service units including Finance, HR, Facilities, Procurement, IT Services and Budgeting.
  • Lead the development of Academy’s marketing campaigns and over seethe promotion of academy programs to develop stakeholder connections.
  • Collaborate with the VP Strategic planning and administration, office of strategic management and related stakeholders to develop annual plan and five year strategic plan for the Academy.
  • Collaborate with academic and administrative leadership and others to ensure that the appropriate corrections in areas of non-compliance are made in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and recommend the development of budget and monitors financial performance versus the budget to ensure alignment.
  • Manage the building of relationships with all potential clients.
  • Direct the manager stakeholder and marketing to potential opportunities and ensure successful marketing of the academy.
  • Act as aliaison between the academy and AD Ports clusters.
  • Identify training needs for faculty and staff based on Adma’s strategic plan and departmental objectives.
  • Demonstrates a commitment to ADMA’s Emiratization program and professional development initiatives for UAE National employees.
  • Develops an awareness of and respect for the customs and cultures of ADMA students and staff.
  • Other tasks assigned by Managing Director.
  • Manage the effective achievement of organization’s objectives by setting individual targets, developing and motivating staff.
  • Contribute to the development of UAE national’s employees in a manner which supports the objectives of the Academy.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing in a way that assists with building internal capabilities of UAE nationals where applicable their performance.

Who Can Apply?


  • Master’s degree. 


  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managerial roles.

Lingual Skills

  • Written and Spoken English & Arabic.
